UNITS

Fort Irwin has over 4,500 active duty military as well as 3,400 civilian employees who work on post. Major units assigned to Fort Irwin include the 1st Squadron, the 11th ACR “Ironhorse”, 11th ACR “Eaglehorse”, 57th WG “Ravens Air Warriors”, NTC Support Battalion, and the U.S. Army Garrison. Other units include the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment and the USACIDC.
