The hospital at Fort Irwin is the Weed Army Community Hospital which has 27 inpatient beds. There is no intensive care unit at the facility, so patients in crisis will be transported to hospital facilities in the nearby community. Military sick call is conducted Monday through Friday from 0715-0830 for units without an assigned Battalion Aid Station. Central appointments is open at 0700 for active duty to schedule a sick call/same day appointment.
